NAME SEARCH OPTIONS: (scroll down to see other options.) When first name is blank search returns all records with the last name you enter. Limit search by entering first letter of first name (no more than one letter) or full first name. Use only letters, omit apostrophes and spaces in names like O'Neal, von Herman, etc. Input is case insensitive: Neal and neal produce same result.

--> BE WARNED: These Search Functions can only search documents we have, and have been indexed. All documents, including those that have not been indexed, are available via links under the Education/Research tab on the home page. Like WWII clerks, our indexers sometimes make mistakes which can be reported using feedback link on home page. Our search functions allow visitors to easily locate documents and images among thousands at our site. As of November 1, 2020 indexing is complete for all categories at left except for Echoes, histories and obits. We occasionaly receive missing documents and new war era photos of vets, as well as histories and other material. You are encouraged to loan 306th related material for us to scan and add to our site.

Search files for a veteran serial number, All but a few of Officer serial numbers begin with the letter "O" and a dash (O-) NOT the number zero; There a few that begin with the letter "T" or "W" and a dash.

Search Echoes files for topic, It is recommended that visitors click *HERE* to access a hyperlinked list of topics used by our indexers. Simply click on a topic to initiate a search of currently indexed Echoes. Alternatively, you can search using entry box below. Single words are advised unless you know certain phrases used by our indexer. Phrase search examines words which are defined as anything followed by a space or end of phrase.
